Hearth and Handcraft
A skills based after school program for middle and high schoolers
Hearth and handcraft offers middle and high school students an immersive experience in nature, exploring the forest while learning hands-on crafts and practical skills. Participants will engage in activities like friction fire, tracking, fiber crafts, carving, medicine making, stone and bone tools. Come explore ways of being that connect us to the land and our ancestors. The program fosters creativity, confidence, community, resilience, and a deeper appreciation for the natural world.
