We cultivate nature connection through educational programs for all ages in Western Mass and beyond. Our after-school programs, weekend workshops and gatherings empower participants with useful and meaningful skills - and create the foundations of practical, life-long relationships with the land and our nonhuman relations.
Our K-12 and adult programs focus on ecological literacy, our programs weave a foundation of knowledge and sense of interconnection with the plant and animal species that share these landscapes. We believe developing a sense of shared origin, co-creation and identity with the natural world is an invaluable, life-changing perspective that is critical for our individual sanity, cultural repair, and species' survival. |
Since 2011, our programs have been offered in support of our parent 501(c)3 Help Yourself, whose mission is to connect communities to the land by creating community food forests in public spaces in the Connecticut River Valley, with fruit and vegetables free for all to harvest from.
