Introducing the Snowy Owls!

 We're excited to offer a new weekly program at Amethyst Brook Conservation Land, in Amherst!

Join the Snowy Owls, a weekly after school program for ages 7 to 11, and plunge into a wild world of nature exploration, crafting and feasting!

This program meets every Tuesday from 3:45 to 5:30 at Amethyst Brook Conservation Land, Amherst. Ongoing Starting 9/5, still room for signups.

• Explore the natural world around us by games, scavenger hunts and hikes
• Harvest, cook and try pancakes made from wild plants and flowers
• Make a winter shelter with leaves & sticks, camouflage yourself in the mud
• Follow and identify animal tracks
• Make treasures and tools from bone and stone

Cost: 150-300$, sliding scale per 2 month session. Scholarships available.

Pick up and drop off at the Amethyst Brook Parking Lot, Pelham Rd, Amherst

Register by email. Proceeds from this program donate one  fruit tree per participant, to be planted in public places this season by Help Yourself, free for all to harvest from!
